This week New Brew Thursday goes international! We find ourselves in the Shibuya District of Tokyo Japan visiting one of the best craft beer bars in Japan, Craftheads. We toss back some craft pizza, and a Japanese Saison called Shiga Kogen Miyama Blonde brewed by Tamamura-Honten. Koji Nomura joins us to talk about craft beer, and specifically craft beer in Japan. John's band, Better Luck Next Time, was touring so we included a little of the footage for that too. miyamablonde Japan has an up and coming craft beer community and at the fore-front of that community is Koji and his "Extreme" Craft beer bar [ Craftheads ]

In a few years, people will be talking about the pioneers of craft beer in Japan and people like Koji will be the people who are remembered for their part in the revolution. Basically, if you are ever in Japan... Craftheads is a must visit. The other, and main reason, we were in Japan is the [ Better Luck Next Time ] tour.
